The Harter Family Foundation STACKED.png

The Harter Family Foundation was created in 2020 when Paul and Laura Harter sold their RV heating business, Aqua-Hot Heating Systems.  While the fund's giving has been varied, the primary mission has been to support veterans' causes and provide assistance to disadvantaged youth.  With grant recipients such as The Boys and Girls Club, Colorado Youth Outdoors, and High Plains Honor Flight, to-date the fund has awarded over $250,000 in grants.

Ryan Groff is the owner of Perennial Sound Studio, a multi-room recording, teaching and creative space located in Champaign and serving the greater Central Illinois area.

Established in December of 2012, Ryan has nurtured the studio into an inspiring and comfortable environment intended to let others with any musical interest have a place to open themselves up to new ideas & experiences - ranging from learning to play one or more instruments, songwriting, sonic exploration to full-on production & recording.

East End Logo.png

Pete McPheatters is the owner of the East End Tavern in Monticello, IL.  In 1989, Pete purchased the East End from Mr. John Eades and is the original bar that the local rock band Head First started their journey in the local Central Illinois music scene in the early to mid 1980s. Interestingly, Pete watched Head First play in the 80's.  When the band had the idea to play a tribute to two of its bandmates who had passed away - Eddy & Jimmy - at the East End 40 years later in 2023 - Pete without hesitation offered the band the use of their original studio in the lower level of the East End where it all started. Head First spent a lot of practice sessions there 40 years ago!

During this event, September 26, 2023, Head First held a 4-hour Tribute concert and also debuted the BC/DC fundraiser for breast cancer.  Fans & Friends of Head First donated $10,450.  It was a success and we contribute a fair amount of the success to Pete and his generosity to host the event at his bar and tavern where Head Frist first performed in 1983.
